Mutually Assured Gerrymandered Destruction

That the Republicans in Texas and other red states have taken their marching orders from Trump to do a mid-decade redraw of district maps is more evidence that Democrats need to start getting into the fight. This doesn't mean matching their energy with reciprocal actions. It means standing up and going on offense! With a Democratic governor, house, and senate, California should begin the process of redistricting with the goal of gaining as many seats in the US House of Representatives as they can. This should not be an intellectual exercise or a "just in case"; the plan should be executed using any and all levers of power available! For far too long, Democrats have been the agents of decorum and norms, while those have long been shredded by the other side. It's high time Democrats use the tools available to them to proactively achieve their legislative goals, instead of capitulating in advance to Republican threats of retaliation, only to have them execute those acts anyway when they're the ones in power. Democrats! Fight back!

10,000 New Jobs in Philly Required AI Skills

This Is Not A Drill! A recent report by The Brooking's Institute states that 10,000 jobs posting in the Philly region last year required AI skills. We're seeing the early signs of an impending reduction in our local workforce as many data-analytics, reporting, and creative tasks are being simplified, requiring less manpower. This follows on a report from earlier this year that 41% of companies plan to downsize due to AI by 2030! This is a break glass moment! Congress needs to act!

Mt Airy Supper Sessions and Future Events
